

Wendy’s leans into gothic whimsy with its limited-edition “Meal of Misfortune,” a new collaboration with Netflix’s Wednesday. Launching August 4 in the U.S. and August 11 in Canada, the packaging design is a visual feast for fans of morbid chic.

The standout is the meal bag, dressed like Wednesday Addams, complete with black braids and a pointed collar, boldly declaring, “There’s nothing happy about this meal.” The fries and nuggets come in black-and-purple striped cartons emblazoned with a stark white “W,” doubling for both Wendy’s and Wednesday. The chicken nuggets are paired with randomly assigned “Dips of Dread” (with names like “You Can’t Hyde” and “Grave Mistake”) and are intended to add mystery and a sense of fear to every bite.
