Summer in the Northern Hemisphere is in full swing. The longer days and pleasant weather are the siren’s song to get us outside, but bugs lie in wait, ready to pounce on our ankles and other body parts, leaving us itching and uncomfortable.

Buzzie is a new bug repellent brand created by Ali Guthy, who describes herself as a “mosquito magnet.” Guthy set out to create a natural bug repellent that smelled better than existing products on the market, and using her background in startups and venture capital, spun up Buzzie to scratch her own itch.
